Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press secretary from 2021 to 2022. She is a part of the Democratic Party and previously served as the White House deputy Press Secretary (2009) as well as the White House deputy Communications Director (2009-2011), the spokesperson for US Department of State (2013-15) and the White House communications direct (2015-17). Psaki was a contributor to CNN's political coverage of 2017 to 2020. Psaki started her professional career with an Iowa Democratic senator, Tom Harkin, and then became the governor of Iowa. Psaki then was appointed the the deputy press secretary of John Kerry's presidential campaign. From 2005 to the year 2006, Psaki served as communications director to U.S. representative Joseph Crowley and regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki was the press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki was named spokesperson for United States Department of State in February 2013.  There was speculation she would succeed Jay Carney, White House Press Secretary, at the Department of State.[21However, Josh Earnest replaced Carney on May 30 the 30th of May, 2014. The White House welcomed her back to the White House in 2015 as the director of communications. she remained until the closing of the Obama presidency.
